This explains how to enable and set your preferences for Unified BillCom (UBC) options in Trash Flow.
Before You Begin
Your salesperson can answer any questions you have about how UBC works. We will electronically send you a payment agreement for the service. Once we receive that signed agreement we will contact you to enable UBC.
Context
The UBC service allows you to send email bills and send or receive messages, whether for one customer or many. You can also use UBC to set the options of what your customers can see on TrashBilling.com.
Set Your UBC Options
- Click .
- Check Show Account Info on Web to let your customers see their name, account, address, and messages on Trashbilling.com.
- Check Show Activity on Web to let customers also see their financial history.
- Check Email Billing Active to enable sending email bills.
- Check Bulk Messaging Active to let you send messages to many customers at once. If you enable this option you must also check the box to accept customer messages.
- Check Accept Customer Messages to let you send messages to a customer and allow them to message you.
- Change the Web Auto-Update interval (minutes) if desired. This controls how often Trash Flow will update TrashBilling.com with the most recent customer information.
- Click to finish.
Set Up Options For TrashBilling.com (optional)
If you're not using Trash Billing to process payments you might not need to change anything here. If you want to send messages to your customers or give them the ability to see their account information on TrashBilling.com then click . Check the box TrashBilling.com active, then make sure the Payment & Information website is where you want to direct your customers. Click to finish.
When You're Done
Once you have set the options as desired, click . This will apply the changes made to the UBC settings.
