Revert a Rate Change
This topic explains how to revert a global price change you have done, changing customer rates to what they were before.
Context
If you make a mistake in a global price change—the percentage was wrong, the number of customers affected looks off, you meant to exclude autopay customers, etc.—you can change the bill codes and rates back. When you run a cash discount rate change Trash Flow records what happens and saves it to your database with a unique log number. That number can be found later by looking at the activity history of a customer who was affected or by running a Cash Discount Rate Change Report.
Revert the Rate Change
- Click .
- An entry window appears. It will already be filled in with the log number from the most recent price change; leave as is or change if needed.
- Click .
When You're Done
All bill codes and rates on the customers affected by the rate change will revert to what they were before that rate change was run. A report will be created and appear automatically. Exception: any bill codes and rates that were changed manually between when the rate change was run and when it was reverted will be skipped.
