Remove a Customer From a Route

This page explains how to delete a customer from an existing route.

Before You Begin

These instructions are relevant to any version of Trash Flow that includes routing.

Context

Trash routes aren't static—customers come and go, new streets are built, you have to balance routes for efficiency, etc. There are two ways to remove a customer off a route in Trash Flow: from the route window and from the customer account

Steps to Follow (route window).

  1. From an open route, click on the customer you want to remove.
  2. Press DELETE on your keyboard or right-click > Edit > Delete Stop/Note.
  3. Close the window to save your changes.

Alternatively, you can delete the customer off the route from their account window.

  1. Open a customer account and navigate to the Routes tab.
  2. Click the line with the route you want to remove.
  3. right-click > Delete.
  4. Close the window to save your changes.
