Tracking Materials in TipTicket

If you want to track the amount of specific materials entering and leaving the landfill, click System > Setup > Tip Ticket > Materials. Enter a Description of a material and press ENTER. Enter a Unit of Measure (usually TON or YDS). Repeat as needed for any other materials, then click OK.

Next you can create variable-rate bill codes and/or assign existing codes to be used when charging for those materials. Each material you track must have at least one bill code. Click System > Setup > Lists > Bill Codes. When creating or modifying codes here, use the TipTick Material field to tell TipTicket that from now on anytime you make a charge using this bill code you’re also logging the amount of this material coming into or leaving the facility.
