Logging In to TeleRoute
Description
How drivers can open the TeleRoute app and start work; what to do when finished with the app.
Before You Begin
The TeleRoute Plus mobile app must be installed from the App store (on Apple devices) or the Play store (on Android devices). The publisher listed on the app is Ivy Computer, Trash Flow's parent company.
Context
Starting the app is an easy process, but problems and misunderstandings can arise.
Steps to follow
- Open the app and enter the five-digit haulerID. If you are not sure what this is then contact Trash Flow.
- Enter the password (chosen by the office and entered into Trash Flow) and log in.
- Choose the driver (who are you?) and the truck (what are you driving?).
- If running a regular route choose which route you will be running and tap . If doing on-call work orders just tap .
When you're done
The driver can start to record route pickups and work order actions.
Other considerations
- When done for the day be sure to log out of TeleRoute. Most of the time when tech support receives calls about a truck not showing up in the right place, a license still in use, a route not showing on the tablet, etc. it's because the driver never logged out the night before and the app is not updating with new information.
- If you see the message "All licenses in use" it might mean that the routes have not yet been uploaded. If you think you are seeing this message in error then please call Trash Flow. Remember that you can install the TeleRoute app on as many devices as you want; the number of licenses controls how many drivers can be logged in and working at one time.
- Passwords are case-sensitive, so "TRASH" is not the same as "trash".
