How to print a scalehouse ticket for vehicles that have to be weighed separately for different materials.

Before You Begin

This is one of the more complex tasks within TipTicket; it is expected that any relevant bill codes, materials, and origin/destinations will already be created.

Context

This is a fairly uncommon situation for most companies. Multipass tickets are for a vehicle that comes in with at least two different kinds of material, both of which have to be weighed separately. These will often be in separate containers or compartments.

Steps to follow

1. The initial steps are the same as for starting any other landfill ticket.
2. After bringing the truck back from the yard, fill in the top bill code line in the Charges section, record a weight, then click Send Truck to Yard again.
3. Repeat step 2 for as many different materials as the vehicle is dumping. Remember that the bill codes in the Charges section need to go in the same order of materials that the vehicle is dumping.
4. When finished print the ticket as usual, taking payment if necessary.

When you're done

The ticket will print out showing the weights (and price, if desired) of every material the customer disposed of along with the original (gross) weight and final (tare) weight.
