Adding a One-Time Stop to a Route
This article explains how to add a one-time stop to an existing route in Trash Flow.
Before You Begin
You must have the routing module of Trash Flow, and the route needs to be created before new stops can be added to it.
Context
Adding a one-time stop allows you to add customers to a route in Trash Flow without making them a recurring stop on the regular route. This function will add the customer to your route, show it as a one-time stop in the route text, and automatically remove the stop from your route when you don’t need it anymore.
Add a One-Time Stop
-
From an open route, place your cursor on the line above where you want to insert the stop.
-
Right-click and navigate to Edit > One-Time, then select an option to add a stop by name, account number, address, or placement address.
-
Search for and select your customer, then use the arrows to select the Pickup Date for the stop.
Note: Right-click the arrows to sort through dates one week at a time rather than day by day.
-
Use the Remove drop-down menu to set a day for Trash Flow to automatically remove the one-time stop from your route.
-
Click OK. Your one-time stop appears on your route with One Time: followed by the date of the stop in the route text.
When You're Done
A one-time stop will look like this on your route:
Note: If your stop is in the wrong place on your route, use the six dots on the left side of the stop to drag and drop it where you'd like it to go.
