How do I find a customer's check payment?

1. From the toolbar, click Customer and then Search Payments.
2. Enter a check number and click OK to have Trash Flow search for any recorded payments using that check number.

When would I want to search payments?

• A customer might insist that they've made a payment and can give you a cancelled check number to prove it.
• Someone might call up without knowing their account number or the account is in the name of a different family member or a business.
