What is the Invoices view?
The Invoices view of the Financial History tab shows every transaction on the account in chronological order. There are potentially eight columns: Date, Amount, Tax, (code) Description, Invoice, User, Balance, and Account #/Name.
- Date: Shows the business date of the transaction.
- Amount: Shows the amount of the transaction.
- Tax: Shows the total amount of any taxes on the transaction.
- (code) Description: Shows the bill code (if applicable) and a description of the transaction.
- Invoice: If a customer has been billed for a charge, this field shows the number of the associated invoice. Right-click the invoice number and click View Invoice to see only charges for that specific invoice. To go back to viewing the entire financial history, right-click anywhere in the window and click Close.
- User: The initials of the Trash Flow user who entered the transaction.
- Balance: Shows the customer’s balance after the transaction listed on this line.
- Account#Name: This option shows when the account is the master Bill to account and View Sub Accounts is selected; it shows the account number and name related to the charge.
