Sending Email Bills

This page explains how to send an email bill to a customer.

Before You Begin

  • You must have the Universal BillCom (UBC)service with Trash Flow to email bills to your customers; please call our sales team at (800) 852-5199 if you need more information.
  • Email Billing Active must be checked under System > Setup > EFT Setup > Unified BillCom Setup. This is normally done when UBC is first set up and you are receiving training.
  • The customer must have an email address in the Billing Address section of their account.
  • On the Misc tab of a customer's window the customer must be set to Email Bill or Print and Email Bill if you want them to receive an email when sending bills to a group.

Email Your Bills


  • To e-mail a bill to a single customer:

    1. From the customer’s account, click Print > Bill.
    2. For the Format, choose Email Statement, Email Invoice, Email Summary Statement, Email Summary Invoice, or Email Statement/Invoice Combo and click OK.
    3. Set the options as desired and click OK to send the e-mailed bills.

  • To e-mail bills to a group of customers:

    1. Click Billing > Bill and Print > Print/Email Bills/Cards.
    2. Choose the desired billing format and click OK.
    3. Set the options to send bills as usual.
    4. When you get to the final screen, you will see a message near the top of the window noting the number of bills to mail and the number to e-mail.
    5. Click Send Email Bills.
    6. Confirm the options here and click OK to send the bills.
