Editing a Landfill Ticket

This describes how to change a scalehouse ticket that has already been created in the TipTicket program.

Before You Begin

You must have the TipTicket module for this to work, and the ticket must have already been created; if it appears in customer history it can be reprinted, edited, or deleted.

Context

If you make a mistake when creating a ticket you can retrieve the ticket to change some aspects of it: any charges, Origin/Destination information, container information, display problems on the ticket, etc. TipTicket is fairly strict about what can and cannot be changed. Please note that if you need to change any weights on the ticket then you must always void the ticket and recreate it with the correct information. You can change the customer on a ticket only if the ticket has not already been paid or invoiced; if it has then the above rule applies.

Steps to follow

  1. Click Edit > Retrieve Ticket.
  2. Enter the ticket desired and click OK.
  3. Change the desired fields.
  4. If you just need to record the changes click F8 - Save. If you also need a printed copy of the modified ticket then click F1 - Print Ticket.

When you're done

Any changes made will be reflected in customer history and on any reports.
