Routes Tab

What is the Routes tab?

If you’ve purchased the Trash Flow Routes module, you can assign customers to a regular pickup route. The Routes tab lists all routes that a customer is currently placed on, along with the stop number and any container placements at that location. Double-click a route to view the Route Placement showing their location along the route.

To add a customer to a route from the the customer information window:

  1. Right-click in an empty area of the Current Routes section of the Routes tab and click Route or press F2.
  2. Select the route on which you want to place this customer.
  3. Click your mouse on the entry directly above where you want to add this customer, then press Insert on your keyboard.
  4. If the customer has any container placements, you will need to choose whether to include all containers, only one container, or no containers at the stop, then click OK.

If you are not sure where to add a customer along an existing route:

  1. Click Route > Closest Stop.
  2. If any other stops are on the same street, Trash Flow will find a route with the closest street number.
  3. Click OK, then press Insert on your keyboard.
  4. If the customer has any container placements, you will need to choose whether to include all containers, only one container, or no containers at the stop, then click OK.

To remove a customer from a route:
